Are you in the mood for a K-pop song that sounds like a hostage situation? Well, I’ve got just the track for you! ALLDAY PROJECT are the latest act to team up with video game franchise PUBG for a soundtrack release. I Don’t Bargain is unflinching in its aggression and represents the worst instincts of an act that can actually release decent music when they want to.
I Don’t Bargain is a “clapback” at the haters, which is almost always an exhausting proposition for a pop song. Looking at its lyrics, my eyes instantly glaze over. You must be really clever with your wordplay to make a song like this work, and the boasts here just aren’t doing it. Some samples:
“Everywhere I go is drama, all the boys I gifted trauma”
“I don’t partake with them fakes”
“I’m all in, this throne my home, ain’t up for auction”
“So tired of hates and comments. Why y’all got no sense that’s common”
Just… ugh. Does anyone actually care about this? It’s beyond cringey and relegates the song to parody status. In another world, I Don’t Bargain‘s chanted call-and-response hook could be quite catchy and silly, but ALLDAY PROJECT are so serious about this that it loses all sense of fun and simply feels like admonishment. Add the requisite tinny (crap) percussion to the mix and we’ve got a thoroughly unenjoyable standoff I can’t wait to escape from.

I know there’s no use comparing, but i happened to be listening to Shinee’s “Evil” while reading today’s reviews and realized I that so far I haven’t heard a 2026 song as interesting or well-crafted as this random Shinee b-side
