I’ve joked before that TNX only give us one single per year, but they’ve broken that streak in 2026. Their last comeback was all the way back in January, but they’ve returned with digital single Die Another Day. The song sees them tackling a new sound and image that blends their rock influences with a groovier energy.
Die Another Day opens with a sticky verse that melds their voices to guitar. I like how both instrument and voice follow a similar melodic path here. It gives the track a sense of intentionality that’s quite catchy. From here, Die Another Day moves into an exciting pre-chorus that amps up the energy. I’m a bit disappointed by the chorus that follows, as the easy repetition of the titular phrase feels too predictable and unambitious. However, the guitar riff here is a lot of fun and eventually the song progresses toward a more developed centerpiece.
More than anything, I’m happy to hear TNX try something a bit different. The bar is in hell this month for new K-pop releases, giving Die Another Day the chance to really stand out. It’s a confident comeback with some real pizzazz to it, which is a big improvement from the solid but generic material TNX have been releasing over the past year or two.

It’s lowkey slight, but I’ll take it, wish we got a proper chorus but the outro is decent and serves as a good compensation, esp when the rest of the song also kept the momentum well instead of shoehorning everything at the last 30 seconds. Like the switch up in the bridge as well, Hwi is truly an underrated rapper.

dude this is so great it sounds like if ONF tried a rock hip hop sound with the way the melodies sound….like don’t the melodies recall Ugly Dance and Goosebumps? Or is that just me? They also have this kind of rookie “I’m trying rly hard” grit to them…..was totally expecting you to rate this higher
9 for me (9,9,8,10) (I’m rooting for these guys (and xikers) so hard I rly rly want them to NOT disband 😭)

Streaming age strikes again. This could’ve been great with an actual fleshed-out chorus and more runtime to develop its ideas. But alas we are left with another “what-if” song

This is a great rock track that managed to sync well with the rap parts. Its not something that was easy to do. I ended up liking it much better than I expected. Yeah its a shame that the song lacked a proper chorus, but it did not spoiled the enjoyment much.
