Congratulations to SHINee’s View! We have our first finalist, as the song garnered a huge 69.1% of the vote.
We’ve got one more match-up before that final battle, and today we’ll decide SHINee’s opponent. Will it be ATEEZ’s Wave or Golden Child’s Let Me? I honestly have no idea. Both tracks have done well in their previous match-ups, and both groups have been celebrated quite often on this blog. I’m sure the fans will be out full-force on both sides.
But when it comes down to it, the choice is up to all of you. Feel free to advocate, cheerlead, cut deals, etc in the comments section!

Yes, I agree both songs and groups are well celebrated and stanned by this blog’s regulars. For me, this one is an easy choice as I like “Wave” but I love “Let Me”.

This is so cruel (I mean… some of the past rounds were very difficult too)! Both songs are fantastic summer songs in their own right. ATEEZ’s “Wave” fully embraces the tropical sound. You can imagine yourself enjoying the hot sensation of a tropical summer vacation. On the other hand the percussion driving Golden Child’s nostalgic “Let Me” right into unapologetic fun territory. The guys are throwing a party; fit for the summer season where you make memories with your friends and family.
Ahh youthful bliss.
Also you gotta give props to the producers responsible for “Let Me”, the fact that it captures the summer ambience without any traditional tropical elements thrown in (or at least I don’t think so… I love to talk about the music and dissect it, but I don’t have much music theory to back me up).
Both songs are ripe for the season (and outside of summer too if you ever need that boost of energy to start the day!). Both songs are fantastic works by their respective artists.
Honestly, I think I’m going to sit this one out. I think all the songs (that were chosen for this feature) do deserve that ‘Ultimate Summer’ crown so I’m excited to see who reigns at the top by the end of this round and the final matchup regardless which artist and their song!
