The Ten Most Popular BIAS LIST Posts of 2023

The Bias ListEvery year at this time, I like to look back at which of my posts received the most views. If nothing else, it’s a good gauge of artist popularity. I know there are readers who take a look at everything I post, but there are also a lot of people who come to the blog through an internet search or shared link and may have no concept of what I do here.

This year, I wanted to share the list with you as well. Here are the top ten Bias List posts of 2023, measured by readership numbers. I’m definitely surprised at a few of them!

Full Top 20

20. Song Review: BABYMONSTER – Batter Up

10. Song Review: Jisoo (BLACKPINK) – Flower

Jisoo (BLACKPINK) - Flower

No shock here, as BLACKPINK are very popular and this was released pretty early in the year.

9. Song Review: Stray Kids – S-Class

Stray Kids - S-Class

Stray Kids have a couple entries on this list. I only wish I appreciated their current music more than I do!

8. Song Review: Jungkook (BTS) – Standing Next To You

Jungkook (BTS) - Standing Next To You

I always like to see a positive review gain traction!

7. Song Review: Stray Kids – Social Path (ft. LiSA)

Stray Kids - Social Path (ft. LiSA)

The top Stray Kids post was actually for a J-pop release. I’m guessing this is because not as many people wrote about this song.

6. Song Review: LE SSERAFIM – Eve, Psyche & The Bluebeard’s Wife

LE SSERAFIM - Eve, Psyche & The Bluebeard's Wife

This eclipsed their actual title track!

5. Song Review: Jungkook (BTS) – 3D (ft. Jack Harlow)

Jungkook (BTS) - 3D (ft. Jack Harlow)

Jungkook is all over this list. He obviously has a broad, English-speaking fanbase.

4. Song Review: V (BTS) – Love Me Again

V - Love Me Again

Yep, BTS is still the one to beat in global popularity.

3. Song Review: Jungkook (BTS) – Seven (ft. Latto)

Jungkook (BTS) - Seven (ft. Latto)

And… there’s Jungkook again!

2. The Bias List’s Favorite Japanese Dramas of 2022

The Bias List's Favorite Japanese Dramas of 2022

Now here’s where it gets surprising. I mean, this isn’t even a J-drama blog! I’m glad this found so much reach, though.

1. The Top 40 Pop Songs of 2022 (20-1)

The Top 40 Pop Songs of 2022

Shocked. I’m absolutely shocked that this was number one, and by a fair margin. I’m not sure what caused it to blow up, but it’s kind of hilarious that the most-viewed post of 2023 has absolutely nothing to do with K-pop.

  2. Damn I thought SEVENTEEN would make onto that list

But I guess there’s an untapped demand of general pop review, one with the same precise and coverage as yours (to K-Pop). I guess you will give it more attention next year
