In 2025, I thought I’d try something new and add a weekly feature to supplement my monthly round-up. Each Sunday, I’ll offer a compendium of the week’s new releases featured on the blog. And even more than that, I’ll attempt to rank them from my least-to-most-liked. I invite you to share your own rankings as well. The comments section of these posts is also a great spot to discuss anything that has happened in K-pop during the week.

Damn, that 3WAY song fell massively in not even a week, it reminds me of ARrC’s “S&S” falling in hardly 6 days tbvh 🗿. Looks like that chorus grind your gears a lot (or in an unexpected plot twist, The Chase and FUTW rose). Lowkey expected “Drama” to fall as well (or did “Too Bad” rose? Or did they rose and fell simultaneously? Eh, I guess we’ll figure it out in next month’s Risers&Fallers!)

Anyways, here’s my ranking:

6. “Fuck Up The World” (Lisa) (and yes, I’m mentioning the title uncensored cause the title being censored peeves me off cause if you’re gonna act all badass AND are gonna incorporate a curse word in your song’s title, then be bold and mention the word uncensored cause it then appears like 11-12 year old me using asterisks when typing curse words, trying to act all badass. Anyways, that’s enough yapping, on to the next rank!)
