Rather than contain my “Risers and Fallers” feature to a single post in June, I’m going to share a bite-sized version at the end of each month. This will let me account for more songs and make a nice lead-in to the monthly round-up post.
I anticipate most of these ratings adjustments will be negligible: a 0.5 shift here, a 0.25 shift there. But, it’s a fun way to keep track of how my feelings on songs have changed over time – as well as which tracks currently have momentum on my playlist.
And remember, just because a song is marked as a “faller” doesn’t mean I hate it! Falling from a “9” to an “8.75” is no shame. 9+ rated songs occupy a totally different playlist in my music library, so I’m pretty particular about what qualifies. It’s a high bar.

MonstaX – Heal (8.5)…initially dismissed it as an ok ballad, but I love it now. Probably the biggest riser
XHeroes – XRoom (8.75)…so emotional, my favorite XH’s sound
Hrtz.wav – Nineteen (8.75)❤️
Dragon Pony – Oh Perfect (8.75)❤️
Keyvitup – Keyvitup (8.25)…pure fun
Wishies – Ode to Love…absolutely aforable (8.5)
On the Fence:
Modissey – Hook…didn’t impress me at first, but I recently added it to the playlist. Not sure if it will stay though. Right now it is an 8
Cortis – RedRed…I still stand by my “repetitive, excessive auto tune” opinion, BUT, I have to say the guys are selling the live “singing” and performances. I wish there was a version without the excessive auto tune. As it is, I’m watching the “live” performances, but still have not added the song to the playlist. I cannot rate this song🙃

cortis’ redred has really grown on me, i have no idea how many times i’ve replayed it for the past few days 😭 i’m not gonna put it on a playlist until the album comes out though. i’d rate it 8.5 now
i really can’t wait for the tws album on monday, wish it could come faster 😩

Next week will probably make or break this month, we not only have the TWS comeback but Nexz and Cravity are also releasing stuff as well, both could go either way, same goes for Illit.
