Song Review: Mamamoo+ – Save Me

Mamamoo+ - Save MeSub-unit Mamamoo+ are making a relatively quick comeback after releasing their single album this March. Like last time, they’ve kicked things off with a pre-release. Save Me (지구에 혼자 남게 된다면) lowers the tempo for a vocal showcase in keeping with Mamamoo’s strengths.

As beautifully as this may be performed, Save Me feels like musical wallpaper. Its muted palette and restrained sense of melody craft a track that passes by without impact. The instrumental has an old-fashioned appeal, buttressed by brass and strings, but I’m eager to see what else this duo has brewing.

  1. I kinda of agreed until I listened to the acoustic live version they uploaded, they got me hooked now.
It’s impressive how Solar seems to keep improving and the subunit seems to be giving Moonbyul the opportunity to show her vocals as well, which also did not disappoint at all
