Rather than contain my “Risers and Fallers” feature to a single post in June, I’m going to share a bite-sized version at the end of each month. This will let me account for more songs and make a nice lead-in to the monthly round-up post.
I anticipate most of these ratings adjustments will be negligible: a 0.5 shift here, a 0.25 shift there. But, it’s a fun way to keep track of how my feelings on songs have changed over time – as well as which tracks currently have momentum on my playlist.
And remember, just because a song is marked as a “faller” doesn’t mean I hate it! Falling from a “9” to an “8.75” is no shame. 9+ rated songs occupy a totally different playlist in my music library, so I’m pretty particular about what qualifies. It’s a high bar.

I hate that all singles in I’ve Mine grew on me SO HARD. Either Way, OTR, and Baddie found themselves in my weekly playlists. I’ll still be the most enamored by I AM (year is almost over yet it never left the top spot of my Spotify On Repeat playlist) but I won’t be skipping I’ve Mine either.

I’ve been lagging behind a lot recently lol and caught up with some stuff. I would say Trendz My Way and JustB Medusa have really earwormed their way in quickly and gone up on my lists. Also Ive’s Off the Record keeps playing in my head though I’ve heard it just once – another sign ig of catchiness.
I also finally listened to Get A Guitar lol and I gotta say the SM production really shines through – its a really good song!

I’ve been lagging behind too. I hear songs, like them (or don’t), but then move on to something else and promptly forget about them. One song though from way back in June crept up on me, and now it might be my favorite of the year by a male singer, top 5 at least: B.I’s Die For Love (ft. Jessi).

I finally heard Chasing that Feeling… omg I can’t believe I missed it so long. It’s so epic and I’m in love. I’ve heard it nearly 5 times or so today already – this is the TXT that made me fall in love with them. Soobin and Huening Kai absolutely owned that pre-chorus – the entire song including that instrumental is so addictive – I absolutely love this song!
