Crème Brûlée (from Song Of The Sirens – 2020)
The plucky percussion that opens this track gives me bad flashbacks to when this style of production was ubiquitous in K-pop. I’m not a fan of this overall vibe. It’s too slow to be exciting and too groovy to support the kind of robust melodies I tend to enjoy. The song is perfectly pleasant and well-performed. This style even suits GFriend to a degree, but it’s not what I love about their music. For me, this is very much album filler.

I personally thought this song was pretty cute, but I can see why it’s not the style you come to expect from them

This song is really out of place in that album.

Idk, I like it a lot better than Tik Tik.
It’s far from their strongest, but I do like this song.

I used to hate this sound but because the market was filled with it. I really appreciate it now
