You Are My Star (from Time For The Moon Night – 2018)
You Are My Star is one of those glistening mid-tempo (almost ballad) tracks that often arrive toward the end of an album. In this case, Star closes the Time For The Moon Night mini album, offering a sentimental denouement to a solid piece of work. I don’t have much to say about this song except that it’s light and pretty and somewhat inconsequential. There are a few melodic turns that remind me of the group’s earlier work, but overall this feels more like comfort food than a satisfying, full meal. I do like the layered vocals that forge the chorus, though.

Hi Nick, I have a request for an A to Z. (I’m sure you get a lot of these! haha) Okay, ready? Hold on to your seat:
Sweetune!
Okay, here me out: Obviously you’ve already reviewed most of Sweetune’s songs, so you would just organize them alphabetically on the A to Z page. And from time to time could review those you haven’t reviewed yet. And it wouldn’t have to be something where you do a Sweetune review everyday, just here and there. The goal would be to maybe review those Sweetune b-sides that you haven’t gotten to yet. I think you’ve probably reviewed most of them anyway. But it would be nice to see all the Sweetune reviews organized together, under a nice index. (And probably it’d be impossible to be 100% complete, but that’s okay…) Anyway, give it some thought 🙂
And the first entry could be that upcoming BBGirls tune;)

Yeah this is fine but inconsequential.
Their B-sides had a definite dip in quality around this album.
