THIS WEEK IN K-POP: Ranking the New Releases from February 9-15

At the end of each month, I compile my top three K-pop title tracks and list a ton of honorable mentions. In 2025, I thought I’d try something new and add a weekly feature to supplement my monthly round-up. Each Sunday, I’ll offer a compendium of the week’s new releases featured on the blog. And even more than that, I’ll attempt to rank them from my least-to-most-liked. I invite you to share your own rankings as well. The comments section of these posts is also a great spot to discuss anything that has happened in K-pop during the week.

Make sure to click on the title of any release to read the full review and see its initial rating. Consider this your one stop Bias List shop each and every Sunday!

  1. Well, I’ve only listened to the Chungha and Jisoo releases 😭 so methinks I’ll put Earthquake as the song of the week, followed by Stress as runner-up

  2. How bad was this week? My favorite new songs this week are NCT Dream’s Love Me Right, WayV’s Juliette, TVXQ’s Psycho, aespa’s Rum Pum Pum Pum, Red Velvet’s Run Devil Run, SHINee’s new version of View, NCT Wish’s Miracle. [All from the new SMTOWN 2025: THE CULTURE, THE FUTURE (30th Anniversary Album)] Fair to say they’re better than any song released so far this year.

  3. Out of the songs that released this week I liked EVNNE’s Love Like That – very reminiscent of their gentler turn with Badder Love, which I actually loved. I’ll take a solid, if generic, energetic pop song any day of the week!

    • I also really like this song (as well as Badder Love)…one cool effect is that when you listen to it with headphones the first “echo” in the post chorus is in the left ear and the second “echo” is in the right ear.
