THIS WEEK IN K-POP: Ranking the New Releases from March 9 – 15

At the end of each month, I compile my top three K-pop title tracks and list a ton of honorable mentions. In 2025, I thought I’d try something new and add a weekly feature to supplement my monthly round-up. Each Sunday, I’ll offer a compendium of the week’s new releases featured on the blog. And even more than that, I’ll attempt to rank them from my least-to-most-liked. I invite you to share your own rankings as well. The comments section of these posts is also a great spot to discuss anything that has happened in K-pop during the week.

Make sure to click on the title of any release to read the full review and see its initial rating. Consider this your one stop Bias List shop each and every Sunday!

  1. i thought you would mention ash by le sserafim and better days by seulgi as notable bsides.

now im curious, how would you rate them?

    • Ash isn’t really my thing. I like Better Dayz fine, but it would probably be about an “8” for me. The production’s better than the song imo.

  2. Did you get to listen to AtHeart predebut song Good Girl (AtHeart) ? since you didn’t post about it either you missed it or it wasn’t interesting enough for you to talk about, was just curious on what camp you ended up being.

    • I listened to it when it when it was first out and it caught my ear for the first 30 seconds or so. However, my day/weekend became too busy with other things and the song didn’t impress me enough to be a “must review”. It looks like it’s doing well on YouTube, though! I’ll keep an eye out for them in the future.

  3. Treasure’s Sururu and NTX’ Over & Over…that’s all I have this week.

As much as I’m rooting for LeSeraffim, I cannot get behind that half assed song Source Music gave them. I mean, this was the moment to hit it out of the park with everything that is going on. Not even the performances are interesting. Agh!

SF9’s album was ok. I actually think al the songs are good, but neither is great.
