In 2025, I thought I’d try something new and add a weekly feature to supplement my monthly round-up. Each Sunday, I’ll offer a compendium of the week’s new releases featured on the blog. And even more than that, I’ll attempt to rank them from my least-to-most-liked. I invite you to share your own rankings as well. The comments section of these posts is also a great spot to discuss anything that has happened in K-pop during the week.

Very Important Observation: when will the baggy pants trend end??? I was rewatching Countdown! and Wait on me and Mona Lisa and they ALL wear these ugly effing pants and it’s literally distracting me, bring the ripped skinny jeans backkkkk what is even the point in spending 4 hours a day exercising for years and years if you’re gonna hide them legs inside plastic bags ughhhh

ok honestly skinny jeans should never go back on trend like ever. i’d much rather have baggy pants be popular than have everyone go back to skinny jeans. plus baggy pants are comfy af

I completely get you when it’s about me and my pants lol, but I don’t want pop stars to rely exclusively on comfy clothes/comfy music, it is too vibey and chill for my taste!
