At the end of each month, I compile my top three K-pop title tracks and list a ton of honorable mentions. In 2025, I thought I’d try something new and add a weekly feature to supplement my monthly round-up. Each Sunday, I’ll offer a compendium of the week’s new releases featured on the blog. And even more than that, I’ll attempt to rank them from my least-to-most-liked. I invite you to share your own rankings as well. The comments section of these posts is also a great spot to discuss anything that has happened in K-pop during the week.
Make sure to click on the title of any release to read the full review and see its initial rating. Consider this your one stop Bias List shop each and every Sunday!
did gwbg grow on you? im surprised to see it at the top with lemon drop being rated higher!

Yeah, and they were only rated with a 0.25 difference so there’s always some wiggle room there.

also, isnt the itzy album one of the best released by a girl group this year?

Ngl, both Lemon Drop and Girls Will Be Girls are growing on me (especially the latter). The execution and production of the latter helps buoy its repetitiveness ngl.
Anyways, here’s how I’d rank the songs I’ve listened to so far:
1- Itty Bitty (song of the week!)
2- Girls Will Be Girls
3- Lemon Drop
4- 1&Only
5- Beep

Lemon Drop clear winner for me this week. I’m with you on Overdrive, that was the standout track on the QWER album for me as well.

Itzy gave us a really solid release this time around! Every song on the album is amazing. Glad you seem to agree, given that Promise is the only song that didn’t land on this list (which is fair since it’s the sweet k-drama-esque ballad). I hope they continue giving us this level of quality, and I really hope that one day they’ll release a title track with the same vibe and sound as Kiss & Tell, because that song is definitely going to be one of my top ones of the year.
Also, the remixes they just released for Girls Will Be Girls are also pretty fun (I’m partial to the tech house remix, but the rock and EDM are fun too). I don’t know if you gravitate towards remixes of Kpop songs at all, but I’ve recently started getting into them because there’s some real gems out there. (Listen to the 2Spade remix of Armageddon if you haven’t already. Trust me.)

lemon drop is my fab of this week. Overall pretty happy w/ the ranking. Prob would have put Seventeen’s Bad Influence higher, but that’s just my bias kicking in.

Those QWER b-sides go crazy, never really had them on my radar but immediately impressed by their latest stuff.
