At the end of each month, I compile my top three K-pop title tracks and list a ton of honorable mentions. In 2025, I thought I’d try something new and add a weekly feature to supplement my monthly round-up. Each Sunday, I’ll offer a compendium of the week’s new releases featured on the blog. And even more than that, I’ll attempt to rank them from my least-to-most-liked. I invite you to share your own rankings as well. The comments section of these posts is also a great spot to discuss anything that has happened in K-pop during the week.

NCT DREAM 2 weeks in a row 🥳 I liked CHILLER on first listen but it grew on me even more. also,
I don’t think you need to put this, when you included KATSEYE releases in past weekly rankings lmao 😭 plus it’s your blog, you can do whatever you want!

Not Chiller making it to your no.1 this week 😂 I was also shocked that you put Back To The Future as your no.1 last week too .
I genuinely enjoyed these two , I got BTTF right away and Chiller’s production made me enjoy it even more . The album was stellar too , as you said , its a solid album ! It definetely doesn’t level up their discography like Dreamscape & Dream()scape did , but it solidified the Dream sound and artistic direction they are heading in and want to develop it which I totally get . I am glad you enjoyed this release , there are times when I think that you may not like a release then you shock me (70% of the time)

I prefer Shattered to Chiller because Chiller to me feels kind of chaotic and scattered as a song, whereas Shattered feels “tighter”, more cohesive, more effective. I have listened to Chiller 3 times and I still can’t grasp the main idea of the song.
