At the end of each month, I compile my top three K-pop title tracks and list a ton of honorable mentions. But each Sunday, I’ll offer a compendium of the week’s new releases featured on the blog. And even more than that, I’ll attempt to rank them from my least-to-most-liked. I invite you to share your own rankings as well. The comments section of these posts is also a great spot to discuss anything that has happened in K-pop during the week.
Make sure to click on the title of any release to read the full review and see its initial rating. Consider this your one stop Bias List shop each and every Sunday!

Vision Wings was my favorite song this week, but the rest of the mini was a dud. Gotta give the overall winner of the week to KiiiKiii with their no-skip mini! 🏆

Another slow week for KPOP. As I am very much disappointed by the rock-inspired KPOP this week, I am gonna share my recent favourite K-Rock songs
KAVE (debuted in 2024 a 5 member male rock band led by singer-songwriter Gaho who sang the famous OP for the JTBC drama Itaewon Class). My favourite song is YOU which combined orchestra sound with rock production. What a treat
Alice Syndrome (fresh debuted in July 2026 a 4 member female band under D-Nation Entertainment). They are similar to QWER (the vocalist Taira is also japanese), just with edgier aesthetic and stronger rock sound. I like their debut single and K-Rock fans should not miss it

My song of the week is Vision Wings. I feel like it’s pretty rare for Kpop to have this kind of grandiose sound anymore. Even though all the parts didn’t gel for me the first time around, it really helped to listen to it separate from the MV and to watch the performances. I also liked the rest of the album, especially Blue Fever and Iconic.

I really like facets of Blue Fever, but the halting ending of the chorus bugs me, and the line “blow your eardrums out” really makes me cringe! 🙉

Sometimes you have to lean into the cringe, like the voiceover in the beginning and middle of Vision Wings!

I love a bit of embarrassment style cringe in Kpop, but physical stuff like ear drums bursting…no way!
I love how they repeat that nonsequitur verbatim in Vision Wings, as if it was really so profound 😄

WayV’s Vision Wings is my top song this week. Other songs from the album that I’m enjoying are Blue Fever and Afterparty.
The other song I enjoyed a lot was AxMXP’s 10 Reasons to Date Me. Other songs from the album that I’m also enjoying are If Not For Love and Back to Yesterday.

so i assume pop off x2 is an 8+ now 😀
also their mini is one of the most solid of the year, no real huge standouts or anything (other than cpmhfp) but its got a very clear vision the whole time which is lacking in so much of kpop rn

Really enjoying the KiiiKiii EP, it’s very cohesive and it’s definitely one of the best things we’ve gotten from the ongoing post-brat summer ‘hyperpop’ wave going on in K-pop right now. Just wish it wasn’t so short
6 song EP being 15 mins is not surprising in todays day and age but sad nonetheless

Vision Wings is my top song of the week, took a couple listens but I really enjoy it now. I think the production choices are interesting and the combination of grand+kinda corny is exactly what I want from kpop, particularly after watching their music show stage. I enjoyed the album too, shout out to Blue Fever and Count It.
I also enjoyed Eunji’s track, I can never really say no to her voice.
