Top Three K-Pop Songs of April 2016

Monthly Round-UpAt the end of each month, I’ll look back at my three favorite title tracks by k-pop artists. Unlike my end-of-year countdowns, jpop and Japanese releases by kpop artists are ineligible, though I will give the great ones a spotlight. For my top three tracks, I’ll take my own ratings into account, but there is a bit of wiggle room as songs tend to grow or fade. Most important of all, I want to give my readers a chance to vote on their favorites! (poll at bottom)

April 2016 Overall Thoughts

After a lackluster March, April was a move in the right direction. Though the end-of-the-month bloodbath of April 25th ended up being a bit of a disappointment, the first three weeks gave us a couple of the best singles we’ve heard so far this year. Things are moving in the right direction, and if past years are any indication, mid-May through mid-September will be the window where we’ll hear most of 2016’s best tracks.
