Rather than contain my “Risers and Fallers” feature to a single post in June, I’m going to share a bite-sized version at the end of each month. This will let me account for more songs and make a nice lead-in to the monthly round-up post.
I anticipate most of these ratings adjustments will be negligible: a 0.5 shift here, a 0.25 shift there. But, it’s a fun way to keep track of how my feelings on songs have changed over time – as well as which tracks currently have momentum on my playlist.
And remember, just because a song is marked as a “faller” doesn’t mean I hate it! Falling from a “9” to an “8.75” is no shame. 9+ rated songs occupy a totally different playlist in my music library, so I’m pretty particular about what qualifies. It’s a high bar.

I actually love feel the pop not gonna lie so it’s sad to see it fall, I’m so happy to see geekin rise though!! I love it, I’m trying to convince my friend to listen to it but she wont😭

Oh damn, a huge rise for Geekin! I was expecting a small “0.25” jump or smth, but not this big! It’s indeed addictive to be very honest hehe
Anyways, while I don’t have any personal fallers, I do have a lotta risers.
Supernova (aespa) rose from 8.75 (8, 10, 9, 8) to a 9.25 (9, 10, 9, 9).
Choke (82Major) rose from a 7.25 (6, 8, 8, 7) to a 8.25 (8, 9, 8, 8) (because the hooks and production are addicting, I admit 🗿)
Geekin too rose from a 7.5 (6, 9, 8, 7) to a 8.5 (8, 9, 9, 8).
Heya too rose from a 8.25 (8, 9, 8, 8) to a 8.5 (8, 9, 9, 8).
While not from this month, Rescene’s debut also rose from a 8.5 (8, 9, 9, 8) to a 8.75 (8, 9, 9, 9) for me (I forgot to mention it before, my bad 🗿).

Wait, Choke’s new ratings are (7, 9, 9, 8), cause that song’s been playing on loop every day (ofc, not the only song I’m listening to nowadays!) (even then, I might give it a 8 with longevity a point lower, but the song’s quite addicting and enjoying a lotta plays from me)

Oh, the difference is not much this time.
Maestro and Heya rose up while 9 Days fell and 200 fell even lower for me.
